In late October, Torn Banner Studios introduced the "" update for No More Room in Hell 2. The creators of the cooperative zombie shooter presented an update trailer and talked about the new features.
Players are invited to visit the new Ruby Lake map: the location was inspired by "80s camp slasher films".
In addition, a new progression system, Responder Retirement, was introduced. Players will be able to "retire" a character, after which they become unavailable for play, and their slot in the squad is freed up. In return, the player is advanced through the system and receives +1 to the starting level of future characters — up to +29, meaning a new fighter starts at level 30. This system has a separate reward track: cosmetic items and more can be obtained.
The developers also fixed various bugs and worked on balancing. A full description of the October update for No More Room in Hell 2 is available at the following link.
No More Room in Hell 2 was released in "early access" format in 2024 and initially received devastating reviews. The developers gradually began to fix the shooter, and over time, the rating improved.
