In late October, Genshin Impact developers held a presentation for update 7.2, titled Hour of Ruin. miHoYo (HoYoverse) partially revealed the contents of the character banners in advance.
Currently, there is information about 5-star rarity heroes, as well as a new 4-star rarity character. Both new characters will be in the first banner, and miHoYo will also offer players a chance to pull old acquaintances.
First Genshin Impact 7.2 character banner:
- Mitya (5-star rarity, Electro, Catalyst) [NEW]
- Furina (5-star rarity, Hydro, Sword) [RERUN]
- Valery (4-star rarity, Electro, Sword) [NEW]
Second Genshin Impact 7.2 character banner:
- Linnea (5-star rarity, Geo, Polearm) [RERUN]
- Zhi Bai (5-star rarity, Geo, Sword) [RERUN]
In addition, in version 7.2, players will have access to the Natlan Chronicles banner — from which Varesa, Chaska, Shilonen, Mualani, and Kinich can be obtained.
The release of Genshin Impact 7.2 update is expected on November 4, 2026.
