Cyberpunk 2077 Quest Director Brought to Tears Again - Game Sets Historic Record on mod.io

Many appreciated the official mod support and rushed to download mods.

On October 22, CD Projekt RED returned to Cyberpunk 2077 and released a major update 2.5. The game added content in the style of the anime "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2," new features, various improvements, and official mod support on consoles via the mod.io platform — similar to the recent The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster.

Soon, mod.io representatives recorded a record number of mod downloads. It turned out that within 24 hours, modifications for Cyberpunk 2077 were downloaded 2.8 million times.

Paweł Sasko, the quest director of the original game and game director of the sequel, reacted to this event — as usual, his message was accompanied by a crying (of joy) emoji:

I'm just overwhelmed with emotions from such an incredible response, choombas. My main priority is to please you with a decent mod catalog and turn Cyberpunk 2077 into a true modding platform.

Recently, Paweł Sasko, during a RedStreams broadcast, spoke about the fact that CD Projekt RED has many former modders. These developers are now creating the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel.
