Recently, the creators of Genshin Impact held a presentation of the upcoming update 7.2. It was named Hour of Ruin. After the show, miHoYo (HoYoverse) traditionally published a selection of screenshots of the content that will soon appear in the game.
In version 7.2, the developers will introduce two new characters — Mitya (5-star rarity, Electro, Catalyst) and Valery (4-star rarity, Electro, One-Handed Weapon).
In addition, the Genshin Impact authors included shots with other familiar heroes in the selection of screenshots, showed locations (the map is planned to be expanded), in-game events, and other content:
The release of Genshin Impact 7.2 update is scheduled for November 4, 2026.
miHoYo also partially revealed the content of the character banners for version 7.2 — there will be not only standard banners, but also a Natlan chronicle banner. In addition, this week another game from the studio received a major update: Zenless Zone Zero was prepared with new characters, story content, various improvements, and skins.
