Electronic Arts recently announced the closure of BioWare studio. Along with this, the development of a new Mass Effect installment was also halted. This upset some fans of the franchise, and they hope that the game can be saved.
A petition called “#SaveMassEffect” was launched, which has already gathered over 200,000 signatures in a few days. This caught the attention of Owlcat Games studio — BioWare's work had a great influence on many developers in the studio. They are currently working on The Expanse: Osiris Reborn and decided to support the fan initiative:
The show “The Expanse” was saved by fans in the past. Therefore, the #SaveMassEffect movement receives our full support. Please consider signing the petition.
