Visual novel Danganronpa 2x2 initially required 32 GB of RAM, but system requirements were lowered following criticism

It seems that the developers decided to revise the requirements after reviewing feedback.

Last month, the visual novel Danganronpa 2x2 caught the attention of some players. They raised questions about the game’s stated system requirements, considering them too high for this type of project.

The minimum system requirements listed graphics card models such as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600, as well as Intel Core i5-14400 and AMD Ryzen 5 4500 processors. 8 GB of RAM was supposed to be enough to run the game.

Meanwhile, the recommended RAM requirement was significantly higher at 32 GB. The recommended graphics cards were listed as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 and AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT.

Players began actively criticizing the developers of Danganronpa 2x2 for poor optimization. The feedback was clearly heard: the franchise’s account recently announced an update to the game’s system requirements.

Now, both the minimum and recommended requirements for Danganronpa 2x2 call for 8 GB of RAM. Processors on the level of an Intel Core i5-10500 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X will also suffice.

To launch the game, graphics cards like the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT are required; for Full HD gaming, an RTX 2060 or RX 6600; and for 4K resolution, an RTX 3060 or RX 6600 XT is recommended.
