Arc Raiders streamer bragged about his skills, but soon got banned and faces death threats — he wants to fly to the developers to prove his mastery

A skilled streamer drew attention and ran into problems.

Recently, a post by a streamer known as aimkey went viral in the Arc Raiders fan community. He claimed an “unfair ban” allegedly for using an aimbot (auto-aim).

Notably, shortly before the ban, he posted a clip on social media captioned “how have I not been banned yet”. In it, he showcased a montage of PvP battles on the “Stella Montis” map. He actively used a grappling hook to move quickly around the battlefield and was shooting quite accurately.

Soon, as some members of the Arc Raiders community pointed out, his post “aged poorly”. Now streamer aimkey wants to meet with the developers to prove his innocence:

I was unfairly banned in Arc Raiders for using an aimbot. Since release, I have dedicated my entire life to this game and streamed thousands of hours. I am ready to FLY OUT to the Embark Studios office and play in front of the developers to prove that I play completely legitimately. My reputation and career are falling apart, and because of this ban I have even received death threats. I beg you, look into my situation. I have nothing to hide. I just want a chance to prove my innocence.

Meanwhile, an Arc Raiders support representative responded to aimkey, stating that the anti-cheat detected a “consistent pattern of anomalous behavior indicative of aimbot usage”.
