Players take on the role of administrators, striving to develop their resort using cards, build routes to the island’s most interesting spots, and clear the jungle so tourists can view their favorite dinosaurs there.
The “Cretaceous Skies” expansion adds pteranodons and separate actions associated with them, alternative start cards, a fifth round, end-of-game reward tokens, and 3D volcanoes to the game.
Meanwhile, thanks to the “Cretaceous Seas” expansion, players will get to see plesiosaurs with unique abilities, resort blueprints, and adjustments for solo mode. If the team sells 350 copies, all backers whose orders include the base game will receive a promo card. The “Trip to the Cretaceous Period” board game and its expansions are scheduled to arrive at the warehouse in the fourth quarter of 2027.
