Payday 3 received a Red Dead Redemption-style add-on

Guns Blazin' Crimebond will expand the heisters' arsenal and wardrobe.

In late October, fans celebrate the eighth anniversary of Red Dead Redemption 2. Meanwhile, Starbreeze Entertainment has released a new add-on for the co-op heist shooter Payday 3 featuring RDR-style content:

The Wild West, known both for its boundless spirit of freedom and its countless horrors, lives on in legends to this day and inspires generations of young robbers to follow in their ancestors’ footsteps.

The add-on called Guns Blazin’ Crimebond adds new weapon models to Payday 3, including the dual “Fierce Barrels” shotguns and “Outlaw” revolvers.

Players will also be able to use three classic weapon models:

  • Spearfish 1895 “Law Enforcer” marksman rifle (primary)
  • Castigo 44 “Guilty” revolver (secondary)
  • Justicar “Venomous Bite” shotgun (secondary)

In addition, the DLC includes cosmetic items from the “Gunslinger”, “Bounty Hunter”, and Desperado sets, as well as various stickers and weapon mods and masks.

Initial reviews of the add-on Guns Blazin’ Crimebond for Payday 3 are “mostly positive”. Some users are dissatisfied with the quality of animations — they feel that they are “broken”.

Earlier this year, the creators of Payday 3 revised their approach to content distribution and made all heists free.
