Recently, the head of Hello Games intrigued No Man’s Sky fans once again. Sean Murray posted a new teaser on social media. Players believe that this is his way of hinting at the next update yet again (he usually posts emojis shortly before a full announcement).
This time, Sean Murray first posted a flower, followed by three flowers. mokrieydela thinks that Halloween content is on the way:
He didn’t just post a rose, but a wilted rose. Death, sadness, decay. My bet is it’s something Halloween-themed.
Coincidentally, BioWare was closed down a few days ago. In the past, No Man’s Sky already had a collab with the Mass Effect franchise, when the Normandy (Shepard’s ship from ME) was introduced into the game.
Some players suggested that new content in the style of the BioWare franchise might be planned, since N7 Day will be celebrated (at least by fans) in November. However, this is unlikely, as dataminers recently noted that Mass Effect content was cut even from Battlefield 6, which belongs to Electronic Arts. Therefore, the launch of a Mass Effect-themed expedition in another company’s game in the near future is hard to imagine.
