Valve recently summarized the results of the October demo festival Steam Next Fest 2026 (or “Games to Be” in the Russian localization). Thousands of demos for a wide variety of games were presented. Some were created using AI technologies, which greatly frustrated some players.
Nevertheless, Steam users were able to find interesting titles for themselves. Valve reviewed the most popular ones and compiled a list of 50 such projects. The co-op school game Worst Class Ever attracted the most interest, where prankster players hide among NPC students and one teacher player has to hunt them down.
Players also enjoyed the needle-in-a-haystack simulator Find The Needle and Probably Stolen - Cyberpunk Shopkeeper Sim, about a merchant who can distribute illegal goods. In addition, players checked out the MMORPG ArcheAge Chronicles, the cozy multiplayer game Loftia, the sports title just volleyball, and more.
