Two developers created the Moon-cleaning game Moon Sweepers – it surpassed AAA hits on Steam

In 5 days, the indie game Moon Sweepers surpassed AAA hits on Steam thanks to its low price and unusual gameplay.

Moon Sweepers is a game by two developers from DragDrop Games. The project was released on October 23 and, at the time of publication, climbed to 6th place in the Steam bestsellers ranking.

This is a co-op game about cleaning the Moon, where up to 16 players collect and sell moon dust, buy new tools, upgrade gear, and unlock cleaning machinery. Starting with just a toothbrush and almost no budget, you need to turn a ridiculous job into a thriving business, provided your teammates actually help.

According to SteamDB, more than 62,000 people played Moon Sweepers concurrently yesterday. With over 1,700 reviews, the game has 77% positive ratings. The developers are not yet ready to announce a console release.
