FromSoftware is still in no rush to share details about the game. Fans examined the text files of the closed beta client available in August. The data was obtained thanks to the community involved in modifying the security of the Nintendo Switch 2.
A list of elements associated with characters was discovered in the ProfileMat file. According to fans, it points to 13 Bloodsworn—the exact number of heroes previously mentioned by the developers.
Datamining also revealed the Nike Wheel Spear, wielded by one of the mini-bosses from the beta. It remains unknown which character will get the weapon and what role it will play in the plot. The files also contained additional information about the heroes’ backstories and the rules for forming alliances.
All findings are based on unofficial analysis and have not been confirmed by FromSoftware. The game is slated for 2026, though the release may be pushed back to early 2027.
