The Wolf Among Us is based on comic books and was released episodically in 2013–2014. Players head to Fabletown, where fairy-tale characters try to survive in a harsh real world.
The remaster includes all five episodes. Among the new features are improved graphics, playable versions of cut scenes, making-of materials, a gallery, and a “Noir” mode with black-and-white visuals. At the same time, animations still look clunky, transitions between scenes can be jarring, and loading times are unexpectedly long.
The Wolf Among Us Remastered will be released on October 29, 2026. The re-release will allow players to prepare for the sequel, The Wolf Among Us 2, which is planned for release in 2027. Choices from the first installment can be carried over into the sequel.
