CD Projekt RED has released the major Edgerunners 2 update to celebrate the premiere of the new season of the anime “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” on Netflix. The patch arrived on Nintendo Switch 2 later than on other platforms due to the need for additional work.
After installing version 2.5, users report sudden crashes, loading failures, and degraded performance. Issues with user profiles and save files are also occurring.
Some Nintendo Switch 2 owners call the current version of Cyberpunk 2077 “unplayable.” Meanwhile, not all users encounter identical issues, though the volume of complaints raises questions about the update’s quality.
The Edgerunners 2 patch was supposed to be another reason to return to Night City. Among the new features is mod support. CD Projekt RED now has to deal with the bugs that marred the update’s release on Nintendo’s console.
