City of the Great Machine is a project featuring hidden movement mechanics set in a Victorian steampunk aesthetic. Here, one player takes on the role of the Machine striving to enslave humanity, while the others become revolutionary rebels. A thrilling cat-and-mouse game unfolds across the districts of a shifting city, and whoever best anticipates their opponent’s train of thought succeeds.
Other options are also provided: the game scales perfectly for two players and also allows playing in cooperative and solo modes.
Plot Twist is the largest expansion, updating the game’s rules and components to version 1.5. It also adds the Everett’s Triad story campaign, 4 standalone missions with alternate histories, support for up to five players, and a new character — aviator Anneke Hoffmann.
