Phantom Blade Zero takes over Steam ahead of release, overtaking Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2

The game has taken the lead, despite costing more than most competitors in the top 10.

Phantom Blade Zero topped the global Steam sales chart ahead of its release, outpacing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Counter-Strike 2, and Dota 2.

The action game from S-Game will be released on October 29, 2026, on PC and PS5. Despite not being released yet, the game has already taken the top spot on Steam’s list of best-selling products.

Notably, Phantom Blade Zero turned out to be one of the most expensive games in the top ten of the ranking. The remaining positions are occupied by cheaper titles, free-to-play games, or discounted products.

Topping the chart indicates strong interest in the action game ahead of launch. The true scale of its success will become clear only after release.
