(18+) Cosplayer showcases battle between Kibellah and her clones from Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader

Cosplayer Ksenia “Neuromantica” Varankina transformed into Kibellah — a Death Cult assassin, to recreate the events from the quest “Reunion”, where the heroine had to battle her own doppelgängers.

Thanks to new shots from photographer Elena Vesania, fans of the role-playing game Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader have had another opportunity to briefly peer into their favorite universe, where in the grim darkness of the far future there is only war.

During this photoshoot, cosplayer Ksenia “Neuromantica” Varankina once again embodied Kibellah — a Death Cult assassin, one of the Rogue Trader’s companions, and a character specialized in mobility, stealth, and dealing strikes with melee weapons.

This time, the team strived to recreate the events of the quest “Reunion”, which unfolds in Chapter 3 in Commorragh — the grim lair of the Dark Eldar (those afraid to utter this name call such an ominous place the Dark City).

It is in this mission that the player finds Kibellah surrounded by her doppelgängers. In the Anatomical Opera, Tervantias the Archmachinator subjects the girl to a nightmarish and sadistic ordeal: she finds herself locked up with a dozen of her own perfect clones created by the Haemonculus.

The clones try to convince her that they are the real ones, while she is just an imitation. A bloody, chaotic battle erupts between them, in which Kibellah is forced to repeatedly slaughter opponents bearing the exact same face as her own.

She eliminates them one after another, but because of this, she gradually begins to lose her mind, losing grasp of who she really is.
