Publisher Board Zeppelin announced that pre-orders have opened for “Chroma Arcana”, a tactical board and card game designed for two players.

Currently, it is available for purchase for 3,500 rubles, and a playmat set costs 1,000 rubles. The project will transport players to the fantasy continent of Alkarr, where they must assemble spells to unleash explosions, minions, edicts, and cunning traps on their opponent.

The first player to reduce the opponent's health to zero wins. Games take 20–40 minutes, the visual design is styled after a spellbook, and vibrant watercolor illustrations create a unique aesthetic.
A welcome feature of the set is that the base game already includes the “Tyrant Hunt” expansion for cooperative play with up to 6 people, so there is no need to buy anything extra.
Alkarr is inhabited by Tyrants (super-powerful monsters)—five of which can be encountered in “Tyrant Hunt”. Each has their own reason for attempting to conquer the continent, and players will have to prevent it.
During the game, tyrant behavior cards will be revealed, dictating its actions. It will command its minions, cast powerful spells, and make life as difficult as possible for the mages.
“Chroma Arcana” is expected to arrive at the warehouse in the second quarter of 2027.
