Ferren Areios is the protagonist of the novel “Master of Rites” by Rob Young. For millennia, he was kept in stasis confinement aboard the Mechanicus Ark Zar-Quaesitor, where he underwent numerous genetic experiments, ultimately becoming one of the first recruits of the Primaris Space Marine generation.
Officially confirmed as captain by Guilliman himself, Ferren Areios never ceases to destroy the enemies of the Imperium of Man. In battle, he is clad in Mk.X Tacticus power armor and crushes opponents with his legendary thunder hammer named “Honor”.
