Grinding Gear Games is preparing to reveal all the details of the Path of Exile 2 release. The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer, which so far sets the atmosphere rather than explains specific changes. The video hints that the hero’s fate depends on a coin toss, and one shouldn’t trust their own shadow. The latter may be a reference to the Shadow class.
The creators hope that the massive changes will not spoil what players fell in love with during early access: the combat system, the world, and the story. The release of the full version will take place on November 3, and the transition to the free-to-play model is scheduled for December 11, 2026.
