Star Wars Jedi 3 is almost ready for announcement – Jason Schreier reveals the stage of development

The third installment of Cal Kestis’s adventures has progressed so far beyond early concepts that its showcase at an upcoming gaming event seems quite realistic.

Star Wars Jedi 3 is at an advanced stage of development, claims the Bloomberg journalist. The game’s announcement could take place in the near future.

Cal Kestis’s story was originally conceived as a trilogy, but Respawn Entertainment has yet to unveil the final installment in the series. According to Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier, development has progressed significantly and has long moved beyond early concepts.

The journalist also expects the official announcement to take place in the foreseeable future. Plot details, platform list, and release date are currently unknown. Most likely, the third entry will continue the events of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which left developers with several options to wrap up Cal’s story.

If the game is indeed at such an advanced stage of development, its showcase at one of the upcoming gaming events seems quite likely.
