In late October, Questing Goose Studio and publisher tinyBuild presented Probably Stolen - Cyberpunk Shopkeeper Sim. It is a cyberpunk merchant simulator in which players are invited to build a business on a massive space station “divided by wealth and corruption”.
A few days later, the developers announced that game sales had surpassed 500,000 copies. At a certain point, the game reached 12th place on the Steam sales chart — while Cyberpunk 2077 held 11th. This weekend, Probably Stolen climbed to 7th place, while Cyberpunk 2077 dropped to 23rd.
The protagonist of Probably Stolen - Cyberpunk Shopkeeper Sim is a former scavenger who managed to open a small shop thanks to a loan: “Now rent is rising, various factions are watching your every move, and most of your profits come from working in the ‘gray zones’ of what is considered legal.”
Reviews for Probably Stolen - Cyberpunk Shopkeeper Sim on Steam are “Overwhelmingly Positive” — holding a 96% rating after more than 6,000 user reviews.
