According to Roboute Guilliman, Primarch of the Ultramarines, a Tactical Marine must be tempered in battles, master every weapon, and learn to apply any strategy. Armed with a combat blade, bolter, and grenade, he attacks the enemy.
Yet these are merely tools. A Tactical Marine’s true weapons are his courage, intellect, and dedication. He stands ready to fight the enemy anytime and anywhere, enter any battle, and fulfill any task set before him. In defense, he must stand firm as a rock against which humanity’s foes will shatter. In attack, he must destroy the enemy without pity, fear, or remorse, and his strikes must carry the wrath of the Immortal Emperor Himself.
