Vigilators lead the reconnaissance networks and sabotage units of the Legions. They operate deep behind enemy lines, gathering intelligence and eliminating key targets before the main Space Marine forces launch their assault.
Their armor is equipped with camouflage systems and noise dampeners. Vigilators know how to blend into the terrain, whether it is a scorched radioactive wasteland, icy peaks, or the cramped corridors of hive cities.
A Vigilator’s primary objective in combat is the elimination of enemy command personnel. A single well-placed shot into an armor joint of an enemy praetor or sergeant can decapitate an entire offensive. In addition, Vigilators identify weak spots in enemy fortifications and direct orbital bombardments or artillery onto them.
