In early November, Blobfish Games and Evil Empire announced the release of the Primal Dread DLC for the arena shooter roguelite Brotato. The developers invite players to head to a new map.
In the story, Brotato emerges from the sea depths, continues to explore the deadly planet, and enters a hostile jungle: “The prehistoric forest holds many secrets, so beware of mutated and cybernetically enhanced predators lurking in the shadows...”
The new map features 20 waves of new regular and elite enemies, as well as bosses. In addition, the Brotato: Primal Dread DLC includes 10 new characters and 17 weapons, dozens of items, extra game mechanics, and music tracks. There will also be new achievements and surprises.

Brotato itself holds “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews, with a 95% rating across 120,000 user reviews. The previous DLC, Abyssal Terrors, also featured a new map, challenging players to plunge into the depths of the ocean.
