Grounded 2 to get a serious competitor – Smalland 2 gameplay revealed

Smalland 2: Lost Realms is preparing to challenge Grounded 2: the survival sequel has received new gameplay featuring swimming, parkour, resource gathering, and an expanded character progression system.

Following the success of Grounded by Obsidian Entertainment, many imitators have appeared on the market. Among them is Smalland: Survive the Wilds, released in 2024, which competed with Microsoft’s project.

Now that Grounded 2 has hit the market, Max Ent Games Limited is preparing a response in the form of Smalland 2: Lost Realms. The release is scheduled for 2027.

The new gameplay video showcased swimming, the ability to climb almost any obstacle, the destruction of modular objects, and gathering resources in various ways in the vein of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. An expanded perk system will also be featured.
