Hacker voices38 improved the Denuvo crack in Onimusha: Way of the Sword — he fixed a critical bug for Capcom

Owners of a licensed copy of the game also face this problem.

Recently, the well-known hacker under the nickname voices38 returned and announced a new victory. He was able to crack Denuvo in Onimusha: Way of the Sword. In addition, he also broke Capcom’s own custom protection, which apparently did not impress him much — in his manifesto, he called it “Mumbo-Jumbo”.

Now he has released a fix for a bug that caused crashes when starting a new game, which some users had encountered. At the same time, this bug was not related to voices38’s “crack”.

Users noticed that some players reported crashes on the Onimusha: Way of the Sword forum on Steam. The profiles of the complaint authors indicated that the game was in their library, meaning this was not a case of “pirates” seeking help on the forum.

Players praised voices38 for doing the job for the creators of Onimusha: Way of the Sword. A user under the nickname Zemanyak joked that the hacker is currently “writing code for GTA VII”.
