Even 10 years later, Bloodborne is selling like hotcakes: players regularly return to Yharnam

FromSoftware’s grim action game still attracts hundreds of thousands of players while remaining a PlayStation exclusive.

More than ten years after its release, Bloodborne continues to enjoy massive popularity, with sales of the grim action game surpassing 10.5 million copies. In October, more than 500,000 PlayStation Plus subscribers launched the game.

Since the beginning of 2026, the project has sold over 250 000 copies. Total sales have generated over $300 million in revenue. Interest in the game is not limited to purchases: fans continue to return to the cursed city of Yharnam.

In October, Bloodborne was launched by over half a million PS Plus users. Many of them were simultaneously playing other FromSoftware hits, including Elden Ring, Dark Souls 3, and Sekiro. This confirms that the studio retains a large audience of challenging action game fans.

However, the game remains locked on PS4. On PS5, it runs via backward compatibility, offering only a slightly more stable frame rate. There is no increased resolution or full 60 fps support. An official PC version has also yet to appear.
