Steam Deck owners have gained the ability to customize the interface of Valve's handheld console for free, styling it like the PS5 or Xbox using two new plugins.
Both add-ons were created for Decky Loader and are available on GitHub. The first plugin replicates distinctive elements of Sony's interface: game tiles and a background featuring a screenshot of the selected project. It also displays HowLongToBeat completion times, playtime statistics, review scores, achievements, and install sizes. The design incorporates PlayStation's signature colors. A dedicated media tab is also included.
The second plugin mimics the interface of Microsoft consoles. It offers a tabbed layout, interactive game cards, separate library and app sections, as well as signature green accents. Users can pin favorite games to the home screen, customize its content, and adjust animations.
