Since its first appearance on screens in 1954, Godzilla has continued to make its presence felt in cinema, television, comic books, games, and collectibles for more than seven decades.

Now, it has been revealed that the LEGO Group will release a special set — LEGO Ideas Godzilla, dedicated to this kaiju from the Monsterverse and consisting of 5,363 pieces. The assembled model stands over 70 cm tall.
The set is designed to capture Godzilla’s unmistakably recognizable look from any angle. Textured scaly skin, jagged dorsal fins, and a powerful tail accentuate the creature’s imposing figure, while articulated shoulders, elbows, wrists, and fingers allow fans to pose the monster for any battle.
Users can swap out the tongue for an included heat ray element, recreating the iconic roaring pose of Godzilla with its head raised high, giving the finished display an even more spectacular and dramatic look.
The idea for the LEGO Ideas Godzilla set was pitched by fan and designer Matthew Esposito from New York via the LEGO Ideas crowdsourcing platform. Following its submission, the project reached the milestone of 10,000 votes and, after passing a rigorous review process by the review board, was approved for production as an official LEGO set.
The LEGO Ideas Godzilla set will go on sale on November 27, 2026. It will be available for purchase for $449.99 (36,867 rubles). Customers who order this new release between November 27 and November 30, 2026, on the official LEGO website or purchase it at official LEGO Stores will receive the LEGO Ideas Godzilla Logo and Footprint set as a gift.
