The team behind The Elder Scrolls Renewal (TESR) project has made another appearance. Modders continue to steadily polish Skywind, a remake of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind powered by the TES V: Skyrim engine.
Recently, the creators of Skywind released a Halloween-themed video, inviting players to check out some musical compositions and explore several eerie locations. Featured are: the Almalexia Temple, crafted by Liz Katrin; ancient ruins by Guilherme Alexander; and an ancestral tomb created by modder Aleksander Zablocki.
Players like @doczspec4502 are eagerly anticipating the project (the remake still does not have a specific release date):
Skywind is, perhaps, our last hope. Please keep up the great work! Morrowind is where the true spirit of The Elder Scrolls is felt. I was around for its release and played it back then. I would really love to see its revival.
Recently, news surfaced regarding issues faced by the Skyblivion team, the fan remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion running on the TES V: Skyrim engine. Disagreements arose with a former developer over the decompilation of their code.
