After 6 years, Assassin's Creed Valhalla received a new mode, achievements, and content

The developers decided to please players with an update.

In early November, Ubisoft Entertainment returned to Assassin's Creed Valhalla and presented “The Most Requested Update”. The developers added a new game mode that some players had long dreamed of, along with several other new features.

“New Game+” has arrived: players will be able to start the adventure anew. With each new playthrough in this mode, the difficulty will gradually increase, offering new challenges for those who want to return to the game again and again.

In New Game+, obtaining a piece of gear already owned by the player or interacting with an already learned book of knowledge will grant a new resource, “mythril” (it can also be found in the store and earned from other activities, such as raids).

Platinum ingots will now be available in chests in the base game — gear can now be upgraded to “divine” quality without the expansion.

In addition, players now have access to “storage”: any gear/runes from the character's inventory can be left there.

The rune forge also received an update: a new tab will be available where runes can be upgraded with silver. A new rune quality has also appeared, along with PSSR 2 support on PlayStation 5 Pro, additional achievements, and more.
