Recently, the Shiro Games studio spoke about the upcoming expansion for Wartales. Soon, the medieval RPG will receive not only premium content, but also a free update.
The Knights of Fardensa expansion (or “Knights of Fardensa” in the Russian localization) will invite players to embark on an adventure in the new region of “Fardensa” — a land of luxurious estates and wealthy farms. These are the domains of the ald Hertoggs, who hold a monopoly on horses and trade. Control over the region is weakening, and stolen horses are being smuggled to the mainland. Players will have to step into the local conflict, study each family, and decide who will take the reins of power into their own hands.
Wartales will receive a free horse breeding mechanic. “Stables” will become available at trading posts; breeding will allow passing on steed traits, and under certain conditions, there is a chance to increase a horse perk's tier. In addition, new accessories, equipment customization, a new mercenary mastery, and more will be introduced.
