“That’s why they revealed the title”: Instead of gameplay for The Elder Scrolls VI, players got new merch and are now spinning theories

Bethesda Game Studios recently decided once again to remind players about The Elder Scrolls VI. The developers published a teaser for the new installment in the franchise, and this time they decided to reveal the game’s full title — “TES VI: Sentinel”.

Gameplay was never shown, which disappointed fans: the first teaser appeared about 8 years ago. Some joke that by the time the game is released, they will already be in a retirement home.

Shortly after the teaser was published, The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel merch went on sale — hoodies and T-shirts.

Participants in the discussion point out that the debut teaser will soon turn 10 years old, yet the developers have still not shown gameplay to the general public. On the bright side, there is now an opportunity to purchase new merch.

As of now, The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel does not have a specific release date or release window. Judging by incoming insider reports, fans will have to wait more than 2 years for the release of Bethesda Game Studios’ new game.
