Euro Truck Simulator 2 received new trucks, garages, and graphics improvements — update 1.62 released

The developers have prepared free content and more.

In early November, the developers of the long-haul trucking simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2 released a major 1.62 update. Players were previously able to check out the new features during an open beta test.

The update includes graphical enhancements, as well as new garages—both on the base map and in regions from expansions. The update affects not only the exterior of the garages: inside, players will find redesigned interiors that now look modern, with more detailed models. The developers did not forget about optimization: while introducing the new version of garages, they aimed to keep it “at an acceptable level compared to the old models.”

In addition, improved materials were introduced for the Iveco S-Way truck, and the design for the Goodyear Tyres Pack DLC was updated—now the color scheme matches the company's current style.
