Publisher Crowd Games has announced that it will release a Russian edition of For the Gods! — a board game by Mighty Boards and game designers Trevor Benjamin, Brett J. Gilbert, and David Thompson.

In this tactical title designed for 2–4 participants, players compete for supremacy across the islands, paving their way to victory stone by stone. A session lasts just 30–60 minutes. At the end of the game, each region’s glory tokens are awarded to whoever erected the tallest temple there — and the one who scores the most glory points claims victory.
The rules are straightforward: participants move between islands, lay the foundations of new temples, and add onto existing ones. They also pick up and use divine stones.
Temples are modular — players construct them from stones, just like a column. Stones come in various levels, so on your turn, you draw five at random from a pouch — and you will have to spend those same stones on movement. A temple must consist of matching stones — this is also important at the end of the game: in the event of a tie in height, the temple of a higher level wins.
The gods' favor is the core feature. The box includes 12 unique gods, and 4–6 random ones are used per game, so each match offers fresh strategies. By dedicating a temple to a god, a player places a special stone there and triggers its ability: for example, Athena allows you to swap temples, while Ares lets you steal an opponent’s divine stone.
