Owlcat hired a star from Honkai Star Rail, Genshin, and ZZZ—revealed an updated version of The Expanse: Osiris Reborn hero

The developers listened to the criticism.

Owlcat Games recently unveiled a new dev diary for The Expanse: Osiris Reborn. This time, the creators showcased an updated version of the male protagonist.

The developers reviewed feedback on the beta version of The Expanse: Osiris Reborn and ultimately decided to recast the character's voice. His lines are now voiced by actor Blythe Melin, who previously made a mark as the voice of Lycurgus in Honkai Star Rail, and also lent his voice to characters in other miHoYo (HoYoverse) games—Zenless Zone Zero and Genshin Impact.

In addition, Owlcat Games revealed an updated version of the default appearance for the Martian Captain and his brother (players will still have the option to fully customize the main character's appearance).

Owlcat Games has not yet announced an exact release date for the game, but noted a release window—the second quarter of 2027. Gameplay-wise, this is not a cRPG, for which many know the studio, but a third-person sci-fi action RPG.
