In late October, the creators of Crimson Desert Enhanced released a major update and the Charting the Unknown premium expansion. After that, the developers once again began actively releasing patches and minor hotfixes.
Recently, they released patches 2.04.07 and 2.04.08, which include fixes for a number of bugs. For example, a bug causing Nibrak’s cloth armor to disappear has been resolved.
Additionally, Pearl Abyss continues working on optimization: performance was improved in certain regions where frame rate drops were observed.
On PlayStation 5, an error that caused the game to crash in certain cutscenes was fixed, and in the Mac version, a bug that could cause the game to crash after defeating Leviacan, making further progression impossible, was resolved. In addition, the ability to feed spotted seals was added to the game.
Some other changes and improvements:
- Fixed an issue where loading a save near an anchorage on certain islands caused the ship to be summoned onto the island.
- Fixed an issue where loading a single save across multiple accounts reset the equipment enhancement level in certain situations.
- Fixed an issue where some outfits were displayed unnaturally.
- [Damiana] Fixed an issue where the skill “Piercing Strike: Limit” was applied incorrectly when using a two-handed sword.
- Fixed an issue where the game crashed when approaching castles and administrative structures from afar after installing a large amount of flooring.
- A corresponding prompt is now displayed when encountering a school of fish.
