The developers of the long-haul truck simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2 are gearing up for the release of their next premium expansion, Iceland. Players will be invited to explore Iceland, and as is tradition, an event tied to the DLC will be launched.
As usual, the “Cruising Iceland” event is linked to the World of Trucks service—you need to connect your account to it and then complete “External” contracts. Event participants in Euro Truck Simulator 2 will be tasked with delivering cargo to cities across the region.
This time, the personal goal for players is to complete 14 deliveries to/from cities in Iceland. Fulfilling it will reward you with a World of Trucks achievement as well as the “Fire and Ice” truck paint job in ETS2.
In addition, the studio SCS Software announced a community challenge: players must drive 175 million kilometers delivering cargo to or from cities in Iceland. As a reward, a cabin accessory for the truck will be given—a hanging “Troll” figurine. To receive this reward, you must also complete your personal goal.
