Lords of the Fallen II will be released on discs. Head of CI Games personally confirmed physical edition

Lords of the Fallen II will receive a full physical disc release for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The president of CI Games confirmed the decision.

In recent years, Polish studio CI Games has been striving to listen to its audience. One of the main proponents of this approach is the studio's president, Marek Tyminski.

Over the past few months, the gaming industry has been actively discussing the fate of physical editions on discs and cartridges. Sony unexpectedly announced that it would end disc support starting in 2028, while other market players are trying to preserve familiar boxed versions. Against this backdrop, it remained an open question whether one of the developer's most promising gaming projects for the coming years would receive a full-fledged physical release.

Now there is no doubt left: Lords of the Fallen II will be released in a boxed version with the game on disc. Tyminski announced this on X.

Lords of the Fallen II is the sequel to the dark fantasy soulslike action game, set 1,000 years after the events of the previous title. Players will explore a vast, devastated world divided into the realms of the living and the dead, switch between two dimensions using a magical lantern, and battle monsters and colossal bosses. The developers promise a more dynamic combat system, brutal finishers, enemy dismemberment, and co-op play with shared progression.
