On March 21, 2017, BioWare released Mass Effect: Andromeda, another game in the cult Mass Effect series.

The product received mixed reviews from publications and low user ratings on Metacritic, but was liked by some players.

In honor of the third anniversary, the developers posted a small piece of content with an image of the main characters on social media. In the comments, subscribers largely thanked the developers for the exciting adventure. Some noted that the Canadians did not finish the story, never releasing the long-awaited DLC with the Quarians. Naturally, some players reminded the developers about the poor facial animation, which became the subject of jokes, memes, and even songs at launch.

In January, BioWare hinted that the Mass Effect universe is not forgotten. Fans are hoping for a remaster of the original game.
