One of the creators of Cyberpunk 2077, Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, who is responsible for quest design, spoke with Areajugones about where he drew his inspiration from.
“If we talk about personal preferences, then Vampire Bloodlines. As for the implementation of first-person RPG elements and how nonlinearity is built into the mechanics and dialogues, this game is definitely an example. We are all gamers, and we all like different genres, but personally, I would highlight Vampire Bloodlines. Especially because it is a perfect example of a first-person RPG that I personally enjoyed,” Tomaszkiewicz noted.
He also shared his thoughts on the Google Stadia streaming service and noted that the technology “could be revolutionary if everything is well thought out.” In the future, Cyberpunk 2077 might appear on Google Stadia, but it is too early to talk about it now, and the developers “are focused on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.”
“I am interested in all of this, but I am not in charge of such things. It is better to contact the board of directors,” Tomaszkiewicz said, answering a question about the possible release of Cyberpunk 2077 on Google Stadia.
There is no exact release date for Cyberpunk 2077 yet.
