Producer of the “fastest shooter” Vanquish Atsushi Inaba, who previously headed the renowned Clover studio, announced that the demo version of the new Platinum Games title will arrive on Xbox Live and PSN on September 2, 2010.
In an interview with Gamespot at GamesCom, Inaba stated that the demo version will be called Velocity Attack, featuring the opening portion of the game as well as a battle with the first boss, Argos. Players will be able to choose between Casual and Normal difficulty modes, as well as decide whether or not to use auto-aim.
Inaba also added that in September at TGS 2010, the developers will showcase a new demo version featuring an introduction to an unexpected character.
The release of Vanquish is expected on October 19 in the US and on the 22nd in Europe.
