NCsoft has officially announced its decision to merge the two universes of City of Heroes and City of Villains into one. If you are a subscriber to at least one of these MMORPGs, you automatically get access to the second game.
“Planning the further development of our intellectual properties, we realized that the right moment had come for us to unite the City of Heroes and City of Villains gaming universes,” noted Brian Clayton, executive producer of the game.
“We removed absolutely all the restrictions that were established at the time of the City of Villains launch,” he continued. “At that time, we were creating a base for future exclusive content, but quite a lot of time has passed, and this is a true evolution for our games.”
