In December of last year, Phil Spencer, head of the Xbox division, answered a fan’s question about the possibility of a fighting game in the vein of Xbox One All Stars Battle Royale featuring respective characters.
He answered quite bluntly, stating that he never liked the idea because no one other than Super Smash Bros. had managed to achieve great success in this genre.
This did not stop a Reddit user from putting together a fairly interesting roster of characters who could appear in such a game.
