The game was run on a PC equipped with an Intel i9 9900K processor, 16 GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Founder’s Edition graphics card with the latest official drivers.
The computer is equipped with an SSD 970 PRO NVMe M.2 solid-state drive, but the image constantly stutters and there are annoying freezes in every room. However, that is only half the problem.
In many scenes, performance drops below 60 fps, and that is at 1080p resolution with high settings and without ray tracing effects.
“Seriously, we don't understand what's going on here. However, we can see that the game's visuals do not justify such high system requirements. Again, these disappointing results were obtained without any ray tracing effects,” DSO Gaming notes.
The game was also tested at 1440p resolution with high settings and DLSS. In this scenario, performance also drops below 60 fps. If ray tracing effects are enabled, performance dips by only 7–8 fps (usually ray tracing “eats up” around 30 fps).
DSO Gaming points out that the unstable performance is not related to rendering two worlds simultaneously. In one of the dual-world scenes, performance exceeds 80 fps at 1440p resolution with high settings and DLSS.
