Mike Brown, creative director of the British studio Playground Games, shared on Twitter that, as is customary nowadays, Forza Horizon 5 will feature multiple graphics modes. In performance mode, the racing sandbox will be able to run at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second on the Xbox Series X console, while the budget Series S will also support 60 frames per second, but only at 1080p resolution.
What exactly the developers will put “on the chopping block” so that the less powerful system can deliver a stable 60 fps remains a mystery for now.
Forza Horizon 5 will be released on November 9 of this year on PC and Xbox consoles. It will become the largest game in the Horizon series.
