Cyberpunk 2077 lead quest designer Paweł Sasko hosted a stream of the game, during which he managed to take a walk around Night City, engage in shootouts, and watch NPCs falling through textures. In addition, Sasko answered several pressing questions from the community regarding the game, and also explained why CD Projekt stopped communicating with players.
According to Sasko, CD Projekt is currently following the path of other studios that have faced troubled launches of their projects, simply fixing the game. There is no reason for the developers to make any promises right now, so as not to make the situation worse if, for some reason, they cannot keep them. At the same time, Sasko admits that he would be more open himself, but it is not within his purview to decide such matters with the community.
Currently, CD Projekt is working on patches for Cyberpunk 2077, as well as versions for current-generation consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The studio is not providing any timelines.
