Vicarious Visions did not disappoint. Diablo 2: Resurrected scores have appeared

Diablo II: Resurrected did not follow the path of the disastrous failure of Warcraft 3: Reforged, and the game will not be forgotten anytime soon.

Blizzard allowed editorial reviews to be published only after the game’s launch. And they are unlikely to disappoint fans.  After 4 reviews of the PC version, the game received 82% (PC), and after 4 reviews of the PS5 version, 83%.

Reviewers emphasize that solid work has been done on the visuals of the game, which runs well and looks great. Fans of the original will truly appreciate the game, and the controller gameplay will not disappoint either.

However, there are minor inconveniences on consoles – inventory management issues, DualSense features left unused, and the “quality” mode running on PS5 at 30 frames per second.

The rest of the complaints are mainly related to the original game mechanics, which Vicarious Visions intentionally did not change. Diablo 2 is a 20-year-old game, and many elements here look outdated. But that does not change the fact that it is an icon of the hack’n’slash genre.
